Day 5 - Create your own Finger Print Tree!

Day 5 - Create your own Finger Print Tree

Welcome to day 5 of our Stay at Home Art Club Kids Challenge! We hope you are enjoying the challenges so far, we love seeing all the creative and beautiful work everyone is making!

Todays challenge is to make your own Finger Print Tree! You will need:

  • Paints or pencils
  • One of our Tree printouts below or a page to draw your own
  • Your fingers!

Have a look at our print out trees below, you can pick one of these to use and print it out, or you can draw your own tree. Then using your finger tip, dip it into the paint gently and press on the page to make a finger print leaf! You can use as many colours as you like, just remember to wash your hands in between or change finger tip so the colours don't get mixed up! Use different finger tips to make bigger or smaller leaves, if you want big leaf use your thumb, or for a tiny leaf use your pinky finger!

If you don't have paints at home, don't worry, you can draw on all the leaves on your tree, make them different shapes and colours so you end up with a beautiful, colourful, tree!
