Join local professional artist Sarah Carrington at Flowerfield for a series of beginners painting workshops over 4 weeks, exploring land and seascape through observational painting techniques. Following painting demonstrations by Sarah, you will create images of the Causeway Coast area using acrylics and mark-making.
Please bring your own landscape images to work from, and an apron or wear clothing that you do not mind getting paint on.
This course is suitable for beginners and those with some painting experience.
Please bring the following materials:
- A sketchbook, approximately A4 size, 250gsm paper
- A set of acrylic paints and a selection of brushes,
- Canvas boards of various sizes; no larger than A3, four in total, these can be bought from The Works, Amazon, or The Range)
- Pencils, some white and coloured chalks, felt pens, coloured pencils
