Discover the rich heritage of quilting in Appalachia. Explore traditional patchwork, fuse cultural influences, and create your own vibrant, functional textile piece, celebrating colour, pattern, and centuries of storytelling through fabric.
The workshop will include both hand stitching and machine techniques. You will have use of one of four machines available. You are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer. Needles, threads, fabrics and everything you need will be available, and you are also welcome to bring your own materials.
