Stitching a Story is an exhibition of stunning quilts made over the years by textile artist Wilma Kirkpatrick, some in collaboration with textile artist Helen O'Hare. The vibrancy and detail of these exquisite artworks have to be seen to be believed.
We were delighted to welcome Wilma and Helen to the exhibition's launch on Saturday 1 July, which was officially opened by our Mayor, Cllr Steven Callaghan.
Wilma's award-winning work has been exhibited across UK, Europe and America. The exhibition continues in our large gallery until 29 August 2023. Thank you to everyone who came along to the launch and special thanks to Garvagh Museum.
