SPRING CREATIVE HIGHLIGHTS AT FLOWERFIELD ARTS CENTRE
At Flowerfield Arts Centre, we’re excited to launch our Jan–April 2026 Arts Guide, and there’s so much for everyone this season. From live music and National Theatre Live screenings to inspiring exhibitions and hands-on creative workshops, we’ve filled the calendar with experiences that will spark your imagination, get you moving, and help you explore your creative side. We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors and share all the incredible events we’ve been planning!
We’re delighted to be partnering with National Theatre Live this season, bringing three standout productions to our screens. You can join us for Mrs Warren’s Profession on 15 January, The Fifth Step on 12 February, and a sharp, stylish and darkly funny Hamlet on 12 March.
For film and art lovers, Exhibition on Screen returns with cinematic explorations of iconic artists including Caravaggio and Turner & Constable, bringing some of the world’s greatest art right here to Portstewart.
Our live music programme is packed with highlights, from folk legend Andy Irvine on 27 February, to a special concert by Ruth McGinley focused on the works of Philip Glass on 6 March, and an evening of soulful folk and roots music from Brian Houston on 17 April and more!
In the galleries, we’re showcasing a series of exciting exhibitions. In January, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Digital & Immersive Showcase (22–24 January) brings together leading artists working with virtual reality, animation, digital opera and immersive storytelling. From 14 February – 28 March, Eleanor Wheeler’s For the Love of Dog (and Other Creatures) explores the deep connections between humans, animals and the natural world through expressive ceramic works. And spring concludes with This Beyond by Stuart Quigley (11 April – 23 May), a luminous exhibition inspired by landscapes, memory and shifting light.
Alongside all of this, our studios will be buzzing with creative workshops in fused glass, linocut printing, ceramics, Tiffany-style glass, textiles, painting, felting, silver jewellery making, and a wide range of children’s activities. There’s something for everyone to explore, learn and get inspired this season.
The January – April 2026 Arts Guide is available to downloadnow or pick up a copy from Reception. Full listings and booking information for all events, workshops and exhibitions is live on our website now.
