Applications are now open for makers to participate in our Christmas Craft Market 2026!
Professional makers are now invited to apply to be part of our fabulous Christmas Craft Market from 14 November to 23 December - the best festive market on the North Coast!
For almost 6 weeks in the run up to Christmas, the Flowerfield Christmas Craft Market takes place in our ground floor galleries in the beautiful Georgian house part of the arts centre.
It showcases high quality handmade contemporary crafts and artisan food producers - ceramics, glass, jewellery design, textiles, woodcraft, handmade decorations, chocolates, homeware, prints, knits and paintings. It promotes makers from all across Northern Ireland & Ireland. (See the note below for what we're keen to add to the market this year).
In 2025, the market saw the highest footfall yet and a record turnover of over £50,000. It exceeded all our expectations and is only growing more popular. It's the stress free Christmas shopping destination.
We welcome applications from professional makers within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough and from across Northern Ireland and Ireland. Our primary objective is to support and promote professional makers/creatives whose sole income is from their creative work. We particularly welcome applications from new market participants.
* As well as the wonderful range of crafts we feature, we're keen to see crafted and handmade gifts such as; ideas for children & babies; non-perishable foods and special larder items like oils, vinegars, drizzles, jams, chutneys, n/a drinks; bespoke doggy and pet gifts.
How It Works
You do not have to stay with your stall. Once you have set up with overstock stored, our team manages all sales, giving you six weeks of sales potential without the costs of staffing or your time. There is no stall fee. We retain 25% commission from sales.
What do you have to do?
- Download and complete the attached application form (which includes or guidelines and Ts & Cs), and return to us no later than Monday 21 September 2026, 5pm to reception@flowerfield.org
- We will notify all applicants by Monday 5 October, 5pm
- All selected makers must set up their stall by Thursday 12 November, 4pm.
- You don't need to man your stall over the five week market period - we take care of everything.
- You present your work with all items individually priced. We will notify you if your stock is low.
- Collect your unsold items and presentation display by 7 January 2027.
- We will issue all payments per individual by Friday 31 January 2027.
The market will launch on Saturday 14 November with music and workshops. We partner with Naturally North Coast and Glens Market for the launch. They'll be located in the auditorium and outdoors terrace.
