Terra Nova Productions presents a special performance for GCSE students to spend a morning immersed in Shakespeare. Focusing on the four main scenes of Romeo and Juliet - their first meeting, the balcony scene, the parting after their wedding night, and the deaths in the Capulet tomb - students will experience the craft of theatre production in a live rehearsal with professional actors getting to grips with the renowned play. Using Romeo and Juliet, Terra Nova inspires a deeper understanding of all Shakespearean text focusing on plot, characters, themes, form, structure and language, leaving students more connected, empowered and confident in interacting with Shakespeare.
