Thursday 21 November-12 December | 7-9pm Cost: £80 full, £75 concession | Tutor: Sarah Carrington

Learn the skills and techniques to capture big landscapes and detail in small scale to make miniature landscape pieces. Sarah will guide you how to express big vistas in small scale - and invaluable techniques for painters, especially if space to paint at home is limited! By the end of this short course, you will have a small canvas, framed and ready to take home, or give as a lovely gift at Christmas.

In the Little Landscapes workshops, you'll explore painting local views of land and sea on a very small scale, in acrylic paints and other mixed media. By the end of the workshops, as well as lots of little paintings, you will have a finished framed 10 x 10cm canvas board painting to gift to someone for Christmas if you like! The frame and the canvas board is provided at the workshop and is included in the ticket price.

Below are materials you should bring along yourself to each session:

A set of acrylic paints and small brushes

A small sketchbook, A5 size or less, minimum 300gsm paper

Pens, pencils, chalks or any other materials you like to use

Please also bring any landscape images you would like to work from
