Music Workshops with The Henry Girls - at Flowerfield Art Centre, Saturday 31st October

IN ADVANCE of their concert at Flowerfield Arts Centre on Saturday October 31st (as part of the North Coast Folk Festival), acclaimed international artists The Henry Girls and friends are offering some special music workshops (for adults and children).

The workshops are aimed at students who have some previous experience and want to widen their repertoire and improve ornamentation.

All workshop participants must bring their own instrument, and the workshops are open to all aged 10+. Adults and children welcome.

The fee for each workshop is only £3, and places must be booked and paid in advance by contacting Flowerfield Arts Centre on (028) 7083 1400.

All of the workshops take place between 1.30pm and 2.30pm:

• The Fiddle Workshop will be run by Karen Henry (12 students)
• The Harp Workshop will be run by Joelene McLaughlin (12 students)
• The Guitar workshop will be run by Ramon Ferguson (12 students), and
• The singing workshop will be run by Lorna McLaughlin (15 students).
