FLOWERFIELD is playing host to a series of fun creative classes for children during July and August as the centre p
Enrolment is now open for the morning classes, which get under way in the week commencing July 15 and run for four weeks, right through to August 9.

There’s no need to wait to enrol – Flowerfield is taking bookings for these classes right now, so you can call at the reception desk at the centre any time and make a booking. You can also call any time and book a place using your credit or debit card – you can reach us on (028) 7083 1400.
Here are a few rules you need to be aware of: Places can NOT be reserved – payment must be made at the time of booking. Multiple group bookings for friends will not be accepted. Children under the age of five are not eligible for this summer programme – but please enquire about our Splish Splosh series of classes for toddlers, which will also be running through the summer.
Parent or guardian details and signatures are required on all enrolment forms, so remember to sign before the class starts – check with reception staff.
Week 1 (July 15 to 19)
We’re offering Arts and Crafts for two age groups - 5 to 7 year olds and 8-11 year olds: Design funky T shirts and print to wear. Make Fab Felt Jewellery, learn how to paint big pictures like real
In the same week we’re also offering Pottery classes for 5-7 year olds – an introduction to the fun of working in clay. Make and bake your own tiles, pots or whatever you’d like to design. We’ll show you how.
And the centre will host Creative Computers classes for 7-11 year olds – Game on: Want to know more? Then get ready to photo-shop, digitise and create. This class is suitable for beginners.
Pottery for 8-11 year olds – Totem poles offer spectacular fun.
Week 2 (July 22 to 26)
From 10.30am to 12.30pm each morning, the centre hosts Arts and Crafts for 5-7 year olds and 8-11 year olds, including Mod Roc’n’Roll, Bag Ladies and Bag Men – make your own Tote Bags. Also Puppet Making and more Big Painting.
We’re also offering Pottery classes for 8-11 year olds – Build a House? A
And the Creative Computers classes are also available for 7-11 year olds – More Game On and other digital photo or music making activities. This class is suitable for beginners. The fee for all of the above classes is £30
Week 3 (July 29 to August 2)
From 10.30am to 12.30pm each morning, the centre offers Arts and Crafts classes for 5-7 year olds and 8-11 year olds.
And an exciting addition to the scheme last year returns for 2013 - Glasscraft for 8-11 year olds – Slump, fuse, cut and polish. It could be jewellery or sun catchers or key rings. Whatever the design is, make it in glorious glass. The fee for all of the classes listed above is only £30.
Week 4 (August 5 to 9)
The Arts and Crafts for 5-7 year olds and 8-11 year olds are on offer each morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and the Glasscraft class for 8-11 year olds is also on offer each morning. The fee for all of the classes is £30.
