Sing Club is a new community choir project launching in spring 2018. This project aims to use voice as a mechanism to create a community which promotes mutual respect and understanding, is strengthened by its diversity, and where cultural expression is celebrated and embraced.
Sing Club offers adults from the greater Limavady/Dungiven area the chance to find your voice, make music, meet people and have fun.
Facilitated by Siobhan Heaney from Singtonicity and local singer-songwriter Paddy Nash, these free workshops will run weekly at Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre, Limavady each Tuesday from 7pm - 9pm beginning on 6th February 2018.
Singtonicity believes that "if you can talk you can sing" therefore the workshops are suitable for all adults. Absolutely no musical talent or knowledge is required.
Tonicity Singing is a unique method of looking after your mental and physical health. Workshops will be delivered in a caring and professional atmosphere and include relaxation techniques, vocal exercises, breathing and stress relieving exercises, tribal sounds, group unison and harmony singing and lots of empowering fun and laughter.
We invite adults of all abilities to join Sing Club. No previous singing experience is necessary. The project can accommodate a maximum of 40 individuals and spaces will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
